-
We provide lunch to students of a local mechanic school class, who have aged out of foster care, three days per week by developing authentic relationships with the students simply through sharing a meal together.

-
These students are then invited to attend our bi-monthly mentorship program where we lead them through discipleship, life-skills training, mentorship and physcial activities to encourage one-on-one relationships with mentors. We work to equip our mentees with skills and relational support they need as they face the new stage of life they are entering.

-
Many of our mentees are challenged with the lack of transportation to attend our mentorship program, getting to and from work, or attendng college. We are committeed to finding volunteer drivers, paying for gas, or arranging Uber rides.
At The Joshua Project,
our long-term goals include housing, purchasing a passenger van, and supporting a paid staff for TJP to work in full-time ministry and walk through daily life with our clients, helping them change generational cycles of poverty, food insecurity, incarseration, drug addiction, homelessness and provide a family to call their own.
